The choir

The venue was very cramped and resulted in difficulty in viewing the choir directly which would have been more enjoyable.
Without the background of the choir in the second half the stage was empty and affected the impact of the solo performers.
The choice of programme was varied but could have been better arranged. The finale was extremely enjoyable. A good start to this initial co-operation between the choirs.

Manama Singers, one of the oldest choirs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, together with the young RCSI Medical University of Bahrain Choir, invite you on a journey through language, rhythm, and harmony, across continents and cultures, on what will be an unforgettable evening of musical unity.

We have put together a vibrant and inspiring celebration of choral music conducted by Stefan Els. The concert brings together voices, traditions, and stories from around the world, presenting a rich tapestry of global choral and solo music, from the soulful call of African folk melodies to the dramatic flair of classical arias and the groove of contemporary popular hits.
