JJ’s Karaoke Idol 2026 kicks off on Monday, 12 October, bringing another season of live competition to JJ’s Irish Restaurant & Pub.

Now in its 21st year, the long-running contest gives aspiring singers the chance to own the stage, win over the audience, and work their way towards the Grand Finale.

With Shannon Crockett hosting the action, Monday nights will be packed with new performers, audience favourites, standout moments, and plenty of competitive energy.

There’s also a major prize on the line, with BHD 1,000 in total cash prizes going to the Top 3 finalists. Come down to compete, support your favourite singer, or simply enjoy a lively night of music and entertainment at JJ’s.

The stage is set. The mic is waiting.

Minimum age: 21+

Karaoke Idol is an amateur singing competition and is intended for non-professional singers. Professional singers and currently contracted or regularly performing

professional vocalists are not eligible to participate.

JJ’s reserves the right to determine contestant eligibility where required.

JJ’s Irish Restaurant & Pub reserves the right to refuse entry to guests who do not comply with the venue’s entry requirements or dress code.

By car: There are many ways to reach your destination, including heading southeast on Shaikh Isa Ave toward Delmun Ave, then turning left onto Osama Bin Zaid Ave. Next, turn right onto Rd No. 3817, followed by a left turn to stay on Rd No. 3817. Continue onto Rd No. 3815, then turn right onto Rd No. 3825. Finally, turn left onto Road 3824. Your destination will be on the right. GPS navigation is highly advised.

By bus: There are many bus lines that are en route to the venue. You can get on a bus line that is convenient for you and get off at Adliya Post Office-2 bus station. You will reach the venue after a short walk.

By taxi: If you don't prefer to use public transportation, taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in the city.
