Bahrain’s gold craftsmanship is renowned worldwide for its quality, rooted in a long history of refinement that has unfolded through multiple, often unseen stages within the city.

From moulding and shaping to trading, these practices have long coexisted quietly across Manama’s urban fabric. Many remain in the hands of families who have practised the craft for generations.

This tour takes participants through the different phases of gold jewellery production, tracing the journey from sourcing and making to selling, and revealing the living networks that sustain this tradition today.

By car:There are many ways to reach your destination, including driving along King Faisal Highway, turning onto Al Fardah Avenue, continuing via Government and Abu Obidah Avenues, then following Al Khalifa and Bab Al Bahrain Avenues. GPS navigation is highly advised.

By public transportation:For the shortest walking distance. Take buses 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 22, 41, 42, 43, 45, A1, B1, U2, X12, or X22 to the Manama Post Office bus stop, followed by a minute's walk.
