In the original version of Natalia Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasilev, new comic characters appeared: bachelor Carrasco and Don Quixote's niece Antonia, who accompany the noble knight on his wanderings and play the role of his faithful horse Rocinante. The image of Kitri's unlucky fiancé, the nobleman of Gamache, has become more amusing and expressive. These details complemented the story and added new colors to it.
