of Sergei Prokofiev himself. “The main thing that I wanted to convey in music was the poetic love of Cinderella and the Prince, the birth and flowering of feelings, obstacles in its path, the fulfillment of dreams,” he said. Therefore, the leitmotif of the play by Kasatkina and Vasilyov is anxious expectation of a miracle that overnight transformed the life of the heroine.
"Cinderella", written by Prokofiev in the tradition of the old classical ballet, will delight you with an abundance of lyrical waltzes and spectacular numbers. A colorful dance extravaganza and a truly magical
atmosphere - this is how the choreographic embodiment of the famous fairy tale should be!
Children gain faith in miracles, and adults become children again for a couple of hours. Even knowing that everything will end well, they count down 12 beats of the clock on the royal tower with bated breath!
